What an excellent show! Delighted you came back for this special Cdn National Podcast day – but wish you’d do this more often. Your choice of words and style of delivery were absolutely perfect for this time of year, and most welcome! I sincerely hope we don’t have to wait till next year (surely this will become an annual event?) for your gentle touch of wisdom.

As I drove in to the office today I realized I had run out of ‘good’ (in the best sense of the word) podcasts to listen to, and needed to find more. Listening to this and the previous show has reminded me there’s a richly satisfying backlog of Baba’s Beach to return to, and I’m thoroughly enjoying them all. Thank you Moe!

Thanks Maureen – I was thinking I was the only one (podcaster) out there who remembered air raid sirens and the warning drills on AM radio. The wind used to set ours of at the local school yard, and soon it became a meaningless fixture, like a billboard. What did bother me though was the fact that mu uncle in Val D’Or Quebece had a stocked air raid shelter in his basement – and my father didn’t!

Hi Maureen,

Mark is correct, govt ships are down to two entree’s only (Bastards) had the pleasure of having Mark, Tony and three national folks down for the week, Could not wait for them to leave lol.

Asked my wife Karen about having five people over for supper,her response “are you serious?”

Mark sweated out your drive to your family. to the point of being irrattating lol. How many web cam shots of some snow covered highway out west am I suppossed to look at, lol.

Just kidding Mark, cya after the New Year.

OK, so now there is a whole departure lounge full of people wondering why a grown man in their midst has suddenly blood-shot eyes and is sniffling with a tear on his cheek.
